Potion Master cover

We are going to have a fun-filled presentation by “Potion Master’s” Author, Mr. Frank Cole.

Mr. Cole will be available after the assembly to sign his newly released book, and have books for sale as well. ($15 for hardback and $7 for paperback. Cash, credit and check accepted.)

A snack will be served and all Ellis students who attend will be able to select a book, from our donated book collection, to take home and keep.

Little Caesar's Fundraiser!!

Ellis Elementary PTA Fundraiser

This year we are selling Little Caesar’s Punch Cards. Each card has 10 punches for a free Crazy Combo with the purchase of a pizza. The cards are only $10 and $7 of that stays at our school!

The PTA helps provide many services to the school. This includes: Red Ribbon Week, Valentine Tea, The Spook Alley, Family Movie Nights, and much more. None of these activities would be possible without your support.

We have awesome prizes:

Sell 1 card: Earn your choice from the prize box!

Sell 2 cards: Earn a candy bar!

Sell 3 cards: Earn light up bracelet or sunglasses!

Sell 5 cards: Earn your own Little Caesar’s card!

Sell 10 or over: Earn an emoji pillow or silly hat or wig!

The top selling class will get a pizza party and the top seller gets a movie gift card!!

If you don’t want to sell cards, but still want to support the PTA, each $10 donation will count as 1 card sold.

The fundraiser will begin on March 7th and ends on March 19th. Please make sure all money is turned in by that day.

Remember that your safety comes first!! Please only sell to people you know and do not go door to door without a parent.

6th Grade Registration

6th Grade Registration

All 5th grade students will be registering for 6th grade on March 6, 2019. If parents would like to be present during this time please contact
Susan Jaggi in the main office at 755-2330 for more information.

Ask your student about their experience and what it might be like for them next year at the middle school. This can be an exciting and yet scary time for them. We are excited to watch our students grow and gain more knowledge as the progress through their next years at Mount Logan Middle School.

5th Grade Field Trip to USU

WHAT: Art & Engineering at NEHMA

WHEN: February 20, 2019

Mrs. Banks class will be going up from 8:15 - 11:00 and Mrs. Mills class will be going up from 11:45 - 2:15.

The Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA) has created a STEAM experience for Logan School District fifth graders! Your students will explore different ways professional artists use technology during their tour of the galleries. They will learn about engineering as they use drawing bots and simple machines to create their own drawings.

Bussing, Aggie Ice Cream, and a NEHMA take home are provided for each student.

Valentines Day Events

Valentines Day - February 14th

We will take class pictures in VeAnn’s room. The students will have three different activities all taking place in the gym. They will dance in the gym, eat a cookie on the stage, and sit and watch their classmates dance. If parents would like to take pictures of their child, they can do so in front of the arch set up in the gym. We will not have a photo booth this year. Take your students in pairs to the gym to start rotations.

Christmas Sing-A-Long

To celebrate our Christmas vacation starting on 12/21

 The whole school will participate in the Christmas sing along @ 8:30 in the gym.

 It will be high-lighted by Santa and Mrs. Clause with treats for all!

We invite all students to participate in Logan City School District’s

Holiday Card Challenge!

To enter submit an original design on an 8 1⁄2 X 11 piece of paper. On the back clearly print your first and last name, grade, and school.

Please submit artwork to the District Office

Entries collected until December 10, 2018 at 4:00pm

If your design is selected it will appear on the District Holiday Card which is sent to various agencies and districts throughout the state.

We look forward to honoring the artist selected during a January Board Meeting

Dear Parents,

We are so excited for our Winter Program. I’m sure your child/children have been singing the Hot Chocolate Song. It has become the favorite song to sing.

We want to invite you to come watch your student perform on Monday Dec 10th at 6:00 pm at the Logan High school Auditorium.

We would like the children there by 5:30 pm, so that we can start right at 6:00 pm.
